The encompassing theme of the first Czech - Israeli accelerator (CIPA) is Smart city. International student teams from the Czech Technical University in Prague and the Technion University in Haifa will be led by experienced mentors to propose innovative solutions for specific assignments by industrial partners. Among the selected topics, the student teams will focus on electromobility and battery life management from CEZ ESCO, the operation of a dedicated mobile network for critical applications from Nordic Telecom, the future of transport within the autonomous mobility of large cities of ELTODO and the TE -VOGS system by AERO4TE to increase ground run safety. CIPA is the result of long-term cooperation between the Czech Republic and the State of Israel in the field of innovation support. CTU in Prague is the first university in the Czech Republic and the third in Europe launching an international innovation accelerator.
