Nuclear physics isn’t just about reactors! For the second time, we at FNSPE CTU organized an event introducing high school students to the fascinating world of ionizing radiation and its real-world applications. Nuclear and radiation physics reach far beyond energy production — into medical physics, industrial and scientific applications, food processing, and environmental protection. Participants enjoyed lectures, discussions with experts, and guided tours of unique facilities. Our group set off on an adventure hidden inside the Žižkov Tunnel in Prague.
